Project Updates and Status
I have been shooting nude self-portraits in abandoned buildings as the focus of my art for the past couple of years. After my big exhibit this past September, I'm busy submitting my work to upcoming juried shows and exhibitions. To keep myself limber during the times I can't get out to do “urbex,” I've committed to taking a self-portrait every day for a year in 2012.
Future Projects and Trips
I have an idea I really want to try that would put a twist on my abandoned self-portraits, starting a new series. Of course I plan to return to Detroit as soon as possible, definitely in the spring, and I have hopes of traveling to some new locations this summer.
